As Director, Integration & Middleware, you will define and execute Hologic's enterprise integration strategy while leading a high-performing team of integration professionals. You will partner across IT and business functions to deliver modern, API-driven solutions that accelerate digital transformation, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the enterprise integration and middleware strategy, standards, and multi-year roadmap.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including API management, cloud-native integrations, event-driven architectures, and automation capabilities.
- Oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of integrations across enterprise platforms and business applications.
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of integration engineers, architects, and technical specialists.
- Establish governance, best practices, and operational standards for integration architecture, security, monitoring, and support.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to deliver scalable integration solutions supporting strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and cloud transformations.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure secure integration design, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, resource planning, and program delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement through operational excellence, performance metrics, and proactive service management.
What We Expect
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware, APIs, application architecture, or platform engineering.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Demonstrated success defining enterprise integration strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies and patterns, including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, ETL/ELT, messaging systems, and cloud integration platforms.
- Experience with middleware or iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud, Azure Integration Services, AWS Integration Services, or similar technologies.
- Expertise in integration security, architecture governance, and enterprise-scale solution delivery.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as medical device, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting platforms such as Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, ServiceNow, QMS, or enterprise data platforms.
- Knowledge of API management, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native architectures, and observability practices.
- Experience with data governance, compliance, validation, and regulated system requirements.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, integration platforms, architecture, cybersecurity, ITIL, Agile, or program management.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $250,100 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
