The Director of Marketing Technology Consulting at Bond plays a key role in helping clients design, implement, and optimize marketing technology solutions that power modern customer engagement, personalization, and loyalty strategies.

Working closely with Senior Directors, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, this role blends strategic consulting skills with hands-on delivery leadership. The Director will guide clients through platform selection, solution design, and implementation of martech ecosystems — including customer data platforms, marketing automation, personalization engines, loyalty platforms, and AI-enabled engagement tools.

This position requires a strong understanding of marketing technology architecture, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and a passion for driving measurable outcomes in customer loyalty and engagement.
  • 8+ years of hands-on loyalty or martech platform experience, including implementation and day-to-day operations.
  • Experience translating business needs into technical solutions and leading cross-functional delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of customer data, integrations, personalization, and consent management.
  • Proven client-facing consulting, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Based in Mountain or Pacific time, or able to consistently work those hours.
Client Advisory & Solution Design
  • Partner with senior leadership to advise clients on marketing technology strategies and best practices.
  • Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and solution design workshops.
  • Support the development of marketing technology roadmaps and integration strategies.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technical plans for martech, data, and engagement solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, analytics, and operations teams to ensure alignment.

Martech & Loyalty Expertise
Provide consulting and delivery expertise across:
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Loyalty Management Platforms
  • Journey Orchestration
  • Personalization & Decisioning Engines
  • Identity Resolution & Consent Management
  • Data Activation and Customer Analytics

Common technologies may include:
  • Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Loyalty Management)
  • Braze
  • Adobe
  • Segment
  • mParticle
  • Treasure Data
  • Snowflake

Project Delivery Leadership
• Manage mid-to-large consulting engagements from planning through implementation.
• Oversee solution architecture, delivery coordination, and quality assurance.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering, analytics, and campaign operations teams for successful deployment.
• Assist delivery teams in resolving platform issues by facilitating discussions with technology partners and coordinating paths to resolution.
• Contribute to reusable delivery frameworks and best practices.

AI & Innovation Support
• Assist in applying AI and machine learning to enhance personalization and engagement.
• Support initiatives involving predictive analytics, next-best-action, and marketing automation.
• Stay informed on emerging martech and loyalty trends to bring new ideas to clients.

Business Development & Practice Support
• Support pre-sales activities, including proposal input, solution outlines, and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements.
• Contribute to case studies, thought leadership pieces, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Maintain relationships with technology partners.

The actual base salary compensation will vary depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.  

Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $ 135,000 to $ 185,000 CAD annually
