One Team

From day one, you’ll be part of a team that collaborates, celebrates, and cares. We move fast, support one another, and have fun along the way. Because when you thrive, we all thrive.

The Director of Acquisition Integration is responsible for building ABC Fitness’s repeatable model for integrating acquired companies and for leading each integration from pre-close planning through full integration. Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Operations, this role creates the playbook, governance, and tooling that effectively integrate acquired companies into ABC’s people, products, go-to-market, client service, global services (i.e. finance, people, IT) and systems, so every integration is faster and more successful. This is a high-visibility role that partners closely with Corporate Development, functional leaders, and the executive team.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and own ABC’s acquisition integration playbook, covering every function and every phase from pre-close through full integration.
  • Define the questions, activities, timing, owners, and exit criteria each function needs to integrate an acquired company.
  • Lead each new integration end to end, from signing through full integration.
  • Partner with Corporate Development during diligence to assess integration risks, costs, and dependencies.
  • Translate each deal thesis into an integration plan focused on the value drivers and critical decisions with effective ownership at a functional level for each workstream.
  • Own Day 1 readiness, including employee and customer communications, systems access, and payroll and benefits continuity, in partnership with functional leaders.
  • Stand up and run integration governance, including the steering committee, functional ownership, workstream cadence, risk tracking, and escalation.
  • Protect customer and employee retention through platform migration, onboarding, support transitions, and change management.
  • Develop an integration scorecard and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Maintain the playbook and improve it through a retrospective after every integration.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Program Management Office to scale program management support as deal volume grows.

What You’ll Need

  • 10+ years in strategy, operations, or program leadership, including hands-on leadership of post-close integration for at least 5 acquisitions.
  • Integration experience in SaaS or technology companies, ideally folding acquired products and customers into the acquirer’s platform.
  • A track record of building repeatable frameworks, playbooks, or operating models from scratch.
  • Working knowledge of integration across HR, finance, legal, go-to-market, product, engineering, customer success, and IT.
  • Executive presence and the ability to lead through influence across functions.
  • Strong program leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

And It’s Nice to Have

  • Experience at a private equity-backed company or serial acquirer with a formal integration management office.
  • Payments and/or vertical SaaS experience.
  • Experience integrating international teams and entities.
  • PMP, PgMP, or change management certification.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and AI tools to accelerate planning and reporting.

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is -

$160,000 - $178,000 USD- annually. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees may be offered other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs, where applicable. Compensation and benefits may vary by location and are subject to applicable legal, business, and market requirements.
