About Hollywood Branded

Hollywood Branded is a pop culture marketing and brand partnership agency founded by Stacy Jones in 2007. We help brands become part of pop culture through product placement, brand integration, co-promotional and licensing partnerships, celebrity and influencer campaigns, branded content and PR.

We are a small, fast-moving team working with national consumer brands, studios, networks and talent. Everyone here wears more than one hat!

The Role

The Director of Brand Partnerships & Digital Marketing is a senior partner on Hollywood Branded's biggest client relationships and the leader of our influencer and digital marketing work. You will help steer multi-channel campaigns that combine influencer marketing, entertainment partnerships, co-promotions and production integrations.

You are not a hand-off point. You walk into client and production calls prepared, with the numbers, the feedback and the pushback already worked out. You catch the deliverable that is not ready before it reaches the client, and you fix it.

Success in the first year looks like:

  • Clients get the same level of service whether or not senior leadership is on every call.
  • Every proposal and deck that leaves HB has accurate numbers, dates and the KPIs the client will measure us on.
  • Influencer campaigns are priced, negotiated and reported with clear ROI logic.
  • The influencer team has a senior resource who has done the work and can grow them.
  • HB can scope and direct paid media for influencer and partnership campaigns rather than relying on outside partners to set the plan.

Responsibilities

Client partnership

  • Serve as a senior day-to-day partner on key brand accounts, alongside HB leadership.
  • Prepare for difficult client conversations: build the numbers, anticipate pushback and bring a clear point of view.
  • Present campaigns and opportunities to clients with confidence.
  • Manage client expectations and address issues directly when something falls short.
  • Recap calls in writing so commitments and decisions are documented.
  • Send clients clear proactive updates on what has run, what is coming and how it is performing.
  • Provide coverage so clients see no drop in service when leadership is out or at capacity.

Influencer and digital marketing

  • Lead strategy for influencer and creator campaigns across nano, micro, macro and celebrity tiers.
  • Oversee and, when needed, personally handle influencer negotiation, contracting and payment workflows.
  • Evaluate influencer fit and value, and push content to be stronger and on-brand.
  • Build relationships with talent agencies (CAA, WME and others) and managers, and handle talent conversations.
  • Recommend how clients can extend influencer and talent content beyond the original campaign.
  • Plan influencer events or activations when campaigns call for them.

Campaign strategy, pricing and ROI

  • Build campaign forecasts: estimated impressions, engagement rate, CPM and expected ROAS against client KPIs.
  • Help price campaigns based on how clients will measure the final results.
  • Scope paid media plans and direct media partners rather than waiting on them for the plan.
  • Review decks and proposals built by the team and catch what is missing (CPM, total impressions, timing, KPIs) before they go out.
  • Research comparable partnerships and market data to support recommendations.
  • Generate creative campaign ideas for brand moments, launches and anniversaries.

Entertainment partnerships and production

  • Support co-promotional and licensing partnerships between brands and film, TV and streaming properties.
  • Work with productions and studio partners: review concepts, push back when integrations will not deliver for the brand, and strengthen them before they reach the client.
  • Track contracted deliverables and promotional windows to keep numbers and dates accurate.

Team leadership

  • Manage the Influencer Marketing Manager and future manager-level hires.
  • Coach and develop the influencer team and serve as their senior resource on campaigns.
  • Help hire the next manager-level influencer marketing role.
  • Roll up your sleeves when needed. At a small agency, that can mean packing influencer boxes or taking a call no one else can cover.

First 90 days

By day 90, you should be a trusted voice on our key accounts and the senior lead on our influencer and digital marketing work.

Days 1 to 30: Learn our clients, active campaigns and team; join key client and production calls

• Outcome: Able to cover client calls and review decks independently

Days 31 to 60: Take the lead on at least one influencer campaign and one partnership workstream

• Outcome: Standard campaign forecast and pricing approach in use

Days 61 to 90: Lead client presentations, coach the influencer team, scope media for an upcoming campaign

• Outcome: Clients and team treat you as a primary point of contact

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years in brand partnerships, influencer or digital marketing (Director level); 5+ years for Associate Director.
  • Hands-on influencer experience. You have personally negotiated and managed influencer deals, not only overseen others who did.
  • Experience across influencer tiers, from nano to celebrity, and comfort working with talent agencies and managers.
  • Strong command of campaign metrics: impressions, engagement rate, CPM, ROAS and client KPIs.
  • Experience building or directing paid media plans for digital and influencer campaigns.
  • Client-facing experience with demanding brands, including leading tough conversations and presenting to senior marketers.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Agency experience, or brand-side experience across multiple brands and categories.
  • Willingness to work in office and be available for client calls during business hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

Preferred

  • Experience with entertainment, licensing or co-promotional partnerships.
  • Experience working with film, TV or streaming productions on brand integrations.
  • Background at an entertainment marketing, PR or talent-focused agency.
  • Event or activation experience.
  • Comfort using AI tools to speed up research, analysis and drafting.

Who Thrives Here

You are sharp, creative and comfortable with numbers. You prepare for the hard conversation instead of hoping it goes away. You have done the work yourself, so you know what good looks like and can teach it. And you know that at a small agency, no task is beneath anyone when the work needs to get done.
