As the Director of Construction Services, you will serve as a key strategic leader within the Development department, driving the execution, scalability, and operational oversight of our store growth pipeline. You will directly lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Senior Construction Project Coordinators and support staff to ensure the flawless execution of new builds, scrapes and rebuilds, and major brand renovations.
In this role, you will elevate our construction operations by establishing scalable frameworks, managing high-level portfolio budgets, optimizing vendor networks, and aligning construction execution with overall company expansion targets. Job Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive commercial construction leadership experience, with a heavy emphasis on high-growth multi-unit QSR, retail, or hospitality environments.
- Leadership: 4+ years of direct experience leading and developing multi-tiered teams (including Senior Coordinators or Project Managers).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent executive field experience preferred.
- Process Leadership: Proven track record of designing and scaling construction management systems, processes, and tools during periods of rapid company growth.
- Financial Mastery: Advanced financial acumen with extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar capital project budgets, portfolio forecasting, and value engineering.
- Technical Proficiency: High-level mastery of enterprise construction management software (e.g., Procore, Lucernex) and advanced data modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated success operating as an executive communicator and cross-functional partner across Real Estate, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
