Director of Delivery at EverOps
Remote, United States
About EverOps
EverOps is the partner engineering teams wish they had but didn't know existed. We embed elite operators directly in our customers' teams to help them ship faster, reduce risk, and optimize cloud spend. We call them TechPods: forward-deployed, outcome-driven, backed by proven playbooks and AI-native workflows.
We sit in the sweet spot between strategy-only firms and staff-aug vendors. Not Big 4. Not bodies for hire. Operators who think big and deliver fast. Since 2012, companies like Coinbase, Snowflake, and Peloton have trusted us to scale platforms, cut waste, and modernize delivery.
We are an AWS Advanced Tier co-sell partner, and our go-to-market is increasingly AWS-led. Our thesis is sharp: make AI actually run in production on AWS, not in a slide deck. That is the work this role delivers.
EverOps has always been 100% remote. Our culture was built for a distributed team to thrive, and this role can be based anywhere in the United States.
The role
We're hiring a Director of Delivery to own delivery and senior client relationships across a portfolio of key clients. This is a highly visible role with real scope to shape how EverOps delivers as we scale, and to grow with the company.
You'll engage through EverOps team leads, but you'll also stay in the details where it matters: scoping work, pressure-testing plans, unblocking teams, and stepping in when a client engagement needs senior hands-on leadership.
What you'll own
Senior relationships with client executives, built on excellent delivery, candor, and a deep understanding of their ongoing needs
Delivery across your client portfolio: teams correctly staffed, delivering to plan, and engineers engaged and supported
The launch of new clients, including delivery practices, reporting rhythms, governance, and the first initiatives that set the tone for the relationship
Scoping and launch of key initiatives for established clients, including roadmaps, priorities, and resourcing
Delivery strategy for EverOps, working closely with senior leadership to define and scale the practices, standards, and operating model that let us grow without losing quality
Architectural input in partnership with the Office of the CTO, bringing the right technical guidance into client work at the right time
Delivery performance using data: spotting risk early, improving predictability, and making decisions based on evidence, not just instinct
What you'll bring
Deep experience in technology consulting, service delivery, or leading technology teams, ideally across multiple clients and engagements
A strong working knowledge of cloud, DevOps, IT, observability, and/or software engineering stacks, enough to challenge plans, review approaches, and speak credibly with engineers and client technology leaders
A track record of owning senior relationships across multiple companies and stakeholders, and growing those relationships through delivery
Strong planning and roadmap execution skills, with the judgment to balance client ambition, team capacity, and commercial reality
A hands-on, problem-solving mindset: you're comfortable moving between strategy and delivery detail in the same day
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and influence without relying on hierarchy alone
The ability to operate with urgency, autonomy, and accountability in a fast-moving, scaling environment
You'll thrive here if you are
Curious and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in how a growing company and its clients operate
Drawn to private equity-backed and entrepreneurial environments, and to learning what it takes to be an operator inside a growing SMB
Motivated by impact: building teams, improving delivery, and helping both EverOps and its clients scale
Why EverOps
A visible, high-impact leadership role at a growing, profitable company
Competitive compensation, benefits, and equity
A remote-first culture built for distributed teams
Real opportunity for career growth and financial reward as the company grows
