Director of Digital Marketing
ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Director of Digital Marketing at KIBO, you will own the strategy and execution of KIBO’s digital demand engine, with a primary focus on creating qualified pipeline and accelerating revenue growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a digital marketer who is obsessed with what’s next. AI is rapidly changing how buyers search, discover, research, and evaluate technology companies, and we are looking for someone who wants to stay ahead of that change — not react to it.
You will lead KIBO’s digital acquisition strategy across SEO, AEO/GEO, SEM, paid search, paid social, website conversion, account-based marketing, marketing automation, and digital analytics. You will be expected to continuously experiment with emerging AI tools and new approaches to search and digital discovery, determine what actually works, and rapidly put those learnings into practice.
This is a role for an innovator, early adopter, hands-on contributor, and leader who is comfortable moving between strategy, analytics, experimentation, and execution.
Ultimately, you will be accountable for building a measurable digital marketing engine that creates engagement with the right accounts, generates qualified opportunities, and contributes directly to pipeline and revenue.
ABOUT KIBO
KIBO is a modern commerce and Order Management platform helping B2B and B2C organizations simplify complex commerce operations and deliver better customer experiences.
KIBO brings Commerce, Order Management, AI Search, and Agentic Commerce together on a modern, composable architecture. Our technology helps organizations connect customer experiences with real-time inventory, order orchestration, fulfillment, and intelligent automation.
KIBO has been recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Commerce Solutions, Q3 2026 and a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Order Management Systems, Q1 2025.
Companies including Ace Hardware, Zwilling, Jelly Belly, Nivel, and Honey Birdette trust KIBO to power critical commerce experiences.
By joining KIBO, you will become part of a global team working in a remote-friendly environment where experimentation, speed, customer obsession, and continuous learning matter.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Own KIBO’s digital demand strategy, with accountability for qualified pipeline generated and influenced through digital channels.
· Lead and personally engage in SEO, AEO/GEO, SEM, Google Ads, paid social, LinkedIn advertising, content syndication, retargeting, website conversion, and other digital acquisition programs.
· Build KIBO's strategy for the rapidly changing world of AI-driven search and discovery, including how KIBO appears across traditional search engines, AI Overviews, generative search engines, LLMs, and emerging AI discovery channels.
· Be an early adopter of AI marketing technology. Continuously evaluate and experiment with emerging AI tools, platforms, workflows, and techniques that can improve targeting, content, personalization, campaign execution, analytics, and conversion.
· Develop a test-and-learn culture where new ideas are launched quickly, measured objectively, scaled when successful, and abandoned when they do not produce results.
· Own Google Ads and paid search strategy, including keyword strategy, bidding, targeting, landing pages, conversion optimization, attribution, and ROI.
· Use Google Analytics and related analytics platforms to understand buyer behavior, identify opportunities, diagnose funnel leakage, and continually improve digital performance.
· Serve as a HubSpot power user and strategic owner, using automation, segmentation, scoring, workflows, lifecycle management, nurture programs, and reporting to improve conversion from engagement through qualified pipeline.
· Develop and execute account-based digital marketing programs that create awareness, engagement, and intent within KIBO's highest-priority target accounts.
· Partner closely with Sales to understand target accounts, buying signals, pipeline requirements, lead quality, follow-up effectiveness, and conversion.
· Optimize KIBO's digital buyer journey from first interaction through conversion, continually improving landing pages, forms, calls to action, nurture paths, and campaign experiences.
· Establish clear measurement across the digital funnel, including traffic quality, engagement, conversion, cost per qualified opportunity, pipeline generated, pipeline influenced, and revenue impact.
· Manage digital marketing agencies, vendors, technology partners, and budgets while maintaining direct visibility into campaign execution and performance.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
· 7+ years of progressive B2B digital marketing and demand generation experience, preferably within SaaS, enterprise technology, eCommerce, Order Management, supply chain, retail technology, or a related category.
· Demonstrated success building digital programs that produce measurable pipeline and revenue, not simply traffic, impressions, or marketing activity.
· Deep practical expertise across SEO and SEM, including paid and organic search strategy.
· Strong understanding of the rapidly evolving disciplines of AEO/GEO and AI-driven discovery, with genuine curiosity about how generative AI is changing traditional search and buyer behavior.
· Advanced experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics, with the ability to personally analyze performance, identify problems, and optimize campaigns.
· Deep HubSpot expertise highly desired, including automation, segmentation, workflows, lead management, campaign execution, attribution, and reporting.
· Experience with Salesforce and modern B2B marketing technology, with the ability to connect marketing activity to opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.
· Experience building and optimizing account-based marketing programs across multiple buyer personas and enterprise accounts.
· Strong analytical ability with demonstrated experience in attribution, funnel analysis, forecasting, experimentation, program measurement, and ROI.
· Strong understanding of website conversion optimization, landing-page strategy, buyer journeys, content performance, and digital user behavior.
· An AI-first mindset and a track record of experimenting with new technologies rather than waiting for established playbooks.
· Strong written communication and messaging instincts, with the ability to recognize content and positioning that will resonate with sophisticated enterprise technology buyers.
· The ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution — developing the plan one moment and personally digging into campaign performance, HubSpot workflows, Google Analytics, search strategy, or a new AI tool the next.
WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE
You are intensely curious about digital marketing and AI and probably experiment with new technology before someone asks you to.
You believe that SEO, search, content discovery, and digital demand are being fundamentally reshaped by generative AI, and you want to help define what modern B2B digital marketing looks like rather than follow a playbook written several years ago.
You are analytical enough to challenge assumptions with data, creative enough to develop new approaches, and technical enough to understand the platforms powering the marketing engine.
You don't believe being a Director means stepping away from execution.
You enjoy leading people, but you are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves, opening HubSpot or Google Analytics, investigating why a campaign isn’t converting, testing a new AI workflow, or figuring out an emerging channel before competitors do.
Most importantly, you measure marketing success by pipeline and revenue impact.
