About Centerbase

At Centerbase, we empower mid-size law firms to run their practices more efficiently, profitably, and client-centrically. Our cloud-based legal practice management platform streamlines the entire client lifecycle from intake to billing to business intelligence, helping attorneys deliver exceptional service while achieving their growth goals.

We’re more than just a software provider—we’re a partner in transformation. With a focus on automation, flexibility, and continuous innovation, we give firms the tools to modernize operations, improve collaboration, and adapt to the evolving expectations of today’s clients and legal professionals. At Centerbase, we come to work every day committed to making legal work easier, smarter, and more impactful for the firms and communities we serve.

Everything we do is guided by four core values:
  • Customer Centric
  • Stronger Together
  • Be the Difference
  • Relentless Improvement
These values shape who we are: a dedicated, inventive, and passionate team committed to empowering law firms to achieve lasting growth and success.

The role

You own two growth engines at Centerbase: events and content. Every event you run should create pipeline or deepen a customer relationship. Every piece of content should help Sales win a deal or help Customer Success keep a client.

This is a hands-on role. You set the strategy and you do the work. You run our tradeshows and regional field events alongside Sales. You host our customers. Then you turn those moments into content that keeps working long after the booth comes down.

You report to the CMO. You work side by side with Sales and Customer Success leaders every week. You bring an AI-forward mindset and use it to plan and measure faster than a traditional team could.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll own: Events

• Plan and budget. Build the annual events plan and budget. Tie every dollar to a pipeline or retention target.
• Tradeshows. Run the program end to end. Choose the national legal tech shows and regional legal events that put us in front of midsize firms.
• Booth performance. Own booth strategy, staffing, demos, lead capture and follow-up. Get every lead into Salesforce and a follow-up sequence within 48 hours.
• Regional field marketing. Build a field program with Sales in priority markets. Host executive dinners, roundtables, partner events and local meetups. Fill each room with the accounts Sales most wants to win.
• Customer events. Own the Front & Center Tour client roadshow. Build user groups and appreciation events with Customer Success that drive adoption and expansion.
• Partner events. Co-host events with our technology and implementation partners to reach new firms.
• Sales Kickoff. Organize and manage internal events, including annual SKO.
• Vendors and sponsorships. Manage association memberships and sponsorships. Negotiate with venues, booth builders, travel providers and production vendors.
• Results. Report on every event: cost per lead, cost per opportunity, sourced and influenced pipeline, customer attendance. Recommend where to invest next.

What you'll own: content

• Content strategy. Own the plan across the funnel. Map content to buying stage and to our two audiences: managing partners and firm operations leaders.
• Editorial calendar. Tie the calendar to product launches and the events plan. Publish on a steady cadence.
• Hands-on creation. Write and edit the work yourself. You'll draft blog posts, guides, case studies, email copy, webinar content and event presentations.
• Event-to-content engine. Turn every event into session recaps, customer stories, video clips and social posts. One event should fuel weeks of content.
• Tradeshow enablement. Work with the booth and customer event teams to ensure they have the right talk tracks, plans and understand objectives.
• AI in the workflow. Use AI for research, first drafts, repurposing and performance analysis. Hold every piece to a human editor's standard for accuracy and voice.
• Distribution. Partner with Demand Generation on SEO and promotion so content reaches the right buyers.
• Results. Measure content by pipeline influence and engagement, not output volume.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• B2B tech experience. 5+ years in B2B technology marketing, with real ownership of events and content.
• Tradeshow ownership. You've run a full tradeshow calendar end to end, from show selection to lead follow-up and ROI reporting.
• Regional field marketing. You've built field events in multiple markets with sales teams. You can show the pipeline they produced.
• Customer events. You've run user conferences, client roadshows, user groups or advisory boards that customers valued.
• Writing and editing. You write well and fast. You bring a portfolio of B2B content you created or led.
• AI-forward mindset. You use AI tools in your work today. You can show where they saved time and money.
• Hands-on leadership. You've worked on lean teams where leaders do the work, not just direct it.
• Budget discipline. You manage spend with care and tie every investment to pipeline.
• Systems fluency. You're comfortable in Salesforce and marketing automation. You connect event data to pipeline reporting.
• Travel. You're ready to travel for shows and regional events, including some evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

• Legal industry or legal tech experience.
• Relationships with legal associations or legal tech show organizers.
• Experience at a growth equity or PE-backed SaaS company.
• Webinar and virtual event production.
• Basic video and design skills for fast-turn social content.

Benefits

• Flexible PTO
• 2 Company-Wide Mental Health Days
• Parental Leave Programs
• 401(k) with Company Match
• Broad Equity Participation
