  • Assess competitive positioning across the POS and merchant payments landscape and translate that analysis into differentiated market strategies.
  • Apply structured problem-solving to commercialization challenges, from market entry questions to adoption barriers.
  • Tie commercialization initiatives directly to revenue targets, building the business case and success metrics for each.
  • Build and maintain revenue models that support prioritization, investment decisions, and executive reporting.
  • Use data and market insight to inform commercialization strategy, testing assumptions, and adjusting plans as evidence emerges.
  • Translate complex technical products and strategies into clear, compelling market narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Craft executive-ready storytelling that aligns commercialization work with the broader strategic narrative of Genius and presents confidently to senior stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience with a mix of product commercialization, product marketing, strategy, consulting, payments, POS, or merchant services experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, demonstrated ability to shape GTM strategy, assess competitive positioning, and solve ambiguous business problems.
  • Solid business acumen, including experience building revenue models and tying initiatives to clear financial outcomes.
  • A track record of using data to inform and adjust go-to-market strategy.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills and comfort engaging senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate technical detail into a clear market strategy.

It's a bonus if you have the following!

  • The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, financial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and strong executive communication skills, with experience in product commercialization, payments, POS, or merchant services.
