About SafelyYou

SafelyYou’s passionate mission is to empower safer, more person-centered care across senior living through world-leading AI, industry-changing hardware, and remote expert clinicians, significantly improving outcomes for residents while increasing peace of mind for families and reducing costs for communities.

Originating in 2015 as the doctoral research of CEO George Netscher—and inspired by his own family's experience with Alzheimer's disease—SafelyYou was spun out of UC Berkeley’s Artificial Intelligence Research Lab, one of the top five AI research groups in the world. And today, our company is solving critical challenges in senior living, from resident falls and ER visits to staffing concerns, length of stay, and NOI. All helping ensure that communities can focus on improved care for residents while still reaching their financial goals.

SafelyYou is one of five most innovative fall technologies referenced in the Senate Falls Report (2019), a winner of the McKnight’s Tech Partner of the Year, and has been named to Fortune’s Impact 20 list, which recognizes companies making people’s lives better through innovation.

Your Role at SafelyYou

SafelyYou is hiring a Director of Growth to own the programs that generate and convert pipeline. You will decide where the growth budget goes, run the channels yourself, and make sure every qualified lead reaches sales quickly with enough context to act on it. This is a hands-on leadership role. With one direct report, you will spend much of your time building campaigns, configuring systems, and doing your own analysis to understand and optimize performance, and demonstrate success. We are looking for someone who can connect channel-level decisions to company revenue goals and explain those connections clearly to sales, finance, and the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth strategy and planning

  • Turn company revenue targets into a growth plan that covers pipeline targets by segment, channel mix, budget allocation, and the assumptions behind each. Revise it quarterly based on results.

  • Own the funnel model from first touch to closed-won. That includes stage conversion benchmarks and the capacity math that tells sales what volume to expect.

  • Manage the growth budget and justify each allocation in terms of pipeline, CAC, and payback.

Channel execution

  • Paid media: Plan, build, and optimize SEM, LinkedIn, trade publication, and retargeting campaigns. You should be able to run these platforms yourself, not only through agencies.

  • Email and nurture: Design drip and lifecycle programs by persona and buying stage. You own segmentation, deliverability, and the triggers that hand leads to sales.

  • Landing pages and conversion optimization: Build and test landing pages. Every experiment should have a stated hypothesis and a sample size large enough to support the decision it informs.

  • Partner marketing: Develop co-marketing programs with technology, channel, and industry partners, with shared goals and tracking.

  • Social media: Own paid social and coordinate organic social strategy with the content team.

  • Direct mail: Add physical touches to ABM and event programs, and track them the same way you track digital channels.

Account-based marketing

  • Define and maintain target account lists and tiers with sales leadership.

  • Run 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many programs tied to account plans.

  • Measure account engagement and progression, not just lead volume.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales to execute.

  • Define and optimize supporting tech stack.

Attribution, analytics, and marketing operations

  • Build an attribution approach that sales and finance trust. Combine system-based attribution with self-reported attribution, and run incrementality tests where volume allows.

  • Maintain reporting on sourced and influenced pipeline, CAC, payback, stage conversion, and channel ROI.

  • Enforce data discipline between marketing automation and Salesforce, including UTM conventions, campaign hierarchy, and lead source integrity.

  • Make sure all marketing data practices follow company privacy and data-handling policies.

Lead flow and sales partnership

  • Own lead scoring, routing, SLAs, and follow-up logic. No qualified lead should sit unworked, and every rep should know what to do with what they receive.

  • Work with SDR leadership on qualification criteria, handoff context, sequence messaging, and feedback loops.

  • Run a regular closed-loop review with sales on lead quality, speed-to-lead, and conversion.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Content: Plan content together against identified funnel gaps, and share performance data that shapes what gets produced next.

  • Product marketing: Turn positioning, messaging, and launches into in-market campaigns, and report back what converts and what doesn't.

  • Sales: Attend pipeline reviews and treat sales as the primary customer of the growth function.

Leadership

Manage and develop one direct report.

Manage agency and contractor relationships, holding them to clear performance standards.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 90 days: You have audited the funnel, attribution, and lead flow, and established baseline metrics. You have fixed the most urgent routing and follow-up gaps. Your 12-month growth plan has been approved.

  • By month 6: Sales and finance have adopted your attribution model. Speed-to-lead and MQL-to-SQL conversion have measurably improved. ABM programs are live against Tier 1 accounts.

  • By month 12: Marketing-sourced pipeline is at 100% of target, and you’ve established a reliable, repeatable pipeline from core growth channels rather than relying on isolated spikes.

The Ideal Candidate:
Required

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing, including 5+ years in B2B SaaS growth or demand generation with direct ownership of pipeline targets.

  • Quantified pipeline results you can walk through in detail: what you changed, why you changed it, and what happened.

  • Hands-on proficiency in paid search and LinkedIn advertising at meaningful budget levels.

  • Experience building and running ABM programs aimed at multi-stakeholder buying committees with long sales cycles.

  • Experience building nurture programs in a marketing automation platform ([HubSpot / Marketo / Pardot]).

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce campaigns, reporting, and lead and contact management.

  • Experience designing or rebuilding an attribution model, and a clear understanding of its limits.

  • Statistical literacy sufficient to design A/B tests and interpret results correctly.

  • Experience defining SLAs and handoff processes with SDR and sales teams.

  • Clear, concise writing, and the ability to present performance and recommendations to executives.

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or another regulated vertical market.

  • Experience running trade publication and direct mail programs in a niche market with a finite set of target accounts.

  • Experience with intent data or ABM platforms ([6sense / Demandbase / etc.]).

  • SQL or BI tool proficiency.

  • Experience at a company at a similar growth stage ([x -Y ARR]).

How You Work

  • You verify the numbers yourself before you present them.

  • When a metric moves, you find out why before deciding what to do about it.

  • You would rather build the first version of a campaign yourself than write a brief for someone else to build it.

  • You own your results, including the ones that disappoint, and you report them plainly.

  • You are as interested in the mechanics of a lead routing rule as you are in campaign creative.

Tools You'll Likely Use

[Salesforce, marketing automation platform, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4, landing page builder, ABM or intent platform, BI tool. Edit to match your stack.]

Salary Range: $155,000 - $180,000 USD commensurate with experience
