Position Summary
The Director of High Voltage provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial direction for the High Voltage/Data Center (HV/DC) vertical. This role is accountable for advancing division growth, strengthening market position, and delivering sustainable financial performance in alignment with ISEC’s broader business objectives. The Director leads the development and execution of strategies that expand the division’s capabilities, deepen customer and industry relationships, and support long-term organizational scalability. This includes cultivating strong partnerships with ISEC regions, owners, developers, target general contractors, and key HV/DC manufacturers. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial and forward-looking approach, with an emphasis on innovation, disciplined execution, succession planning, and the development of a high-performing leadership team. The Director is expected to model ISEC’s core values, drive accountability, and ensure the division consistently delivers exceptional customer service and strong business results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Organizational:

  • Partner with the VP and senior leadership to develop and implement division goals, strategies, and business plans.
  • Prepare and manage division overhead budgets, provide monthly updates to the VP, and oversee temporary or permanent office space needs.

Personnel:

  • Define staffing strategy and maintain organization structure to meet business needs.
  • Oversee hiring, performance management, promotions, compensation, and employee relations in partnership with the VP or senior leadership.
  • Develop the division leadership team and oversee development of professional and field staff.
  • Travel up to 50% to core markets, customers, vendors, networking events, and project teams.

Business Development:

  • Define and oversee strategy for growth through innovative expansion of scope
  • Prepare revenue and profit projections as requested.
  • Identify, pursue, build, and strengthen relationships with key customer and manufacturer contacts.
  • Analyze projects to determine strategic value.
  • Guide ISEC and Direct sales team in bidding projects to meet DFH Division and regional annual order and profit goals.
  • Support and maintain relationships with ISEC Business Development Managers, Regional Managers and Executives.
  • Help regions generate new business with target customers and locate new opportunities for expansion.
  • Establish and meet or exceed overall sales goal, ship and bill goals, and profit goals annually; manage against department overhead accounts.
  • Create and implement tracking system to manage and communicate sales and profit against goals.
  • Collaborate with ISEC marketing efforts, trade shows, mailers, advertising, regional brochures with support from Corporate Administrative support.
  • Attends networking & industry related events to better position ISEC.

Preconstruction

  • Oversee Estimating Manager and process with manufacturer selections for strategic advantage (regional, customer or product), timely, accurate and comprehensive bids and/or budgets. Develop and oversee KPIs that pertain to performance in different regions, sectors, and markets. Realign to ensure better outcomes.
  • Oversee engineering process.
  • Monitor update meetings for new projects and assist the Estimating Manager as necessary

Operations

  • Oversee estimating and project execution, ensuring accurate sell values, timely submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, releases, and project deliverables. Establish and monitor performance KPIs.
  • Lead HV Operations, Warehouse, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure timely procurement, material releases, and efficient delivery to customer jobsites. Escalate manufacturer issues to minimize customer impact.
  • Monitor ongoing project update meetings and support the Detailing Manager as needed.
  • Participate in Quarterly Division Reviews and prepare revenue and profit projections for Work in Progress.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate and implement the Company’s safety policies and procedures committed to the Safety Promise. The General Manager may adopt more stringent rules with consultation of the Safety Department.
  • Establish an environment of “zero tolerance” for safety non-compliance and promote a positive atmosphere for safety Excellence.
  • Ensure an accident-free Division through managing of the safety program including full implementation of the Safety Leadership Team.
  • Provide the resources and time necessary to execute the required actions in safety on projects. Ensure all employees in the Division follow and implement ISEC safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or the equivalent combination of education and related Construction experience
  • Minimum of 10 years Construction experience with 5 years in a leadership position
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Center/Chip Manufacturing Industry
  • Track record of success

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree Construction Management.
  • 15 years of experience in commercial construction or manufacturing of related goods.

Salary Range: $140,000- $200,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated base salary for the position and does not include any annual incentive compensation, bonus opportunities, or other forms of compensation that may be available based on role eligibility. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
