The Director of Nursing Student Outcomes provides system-wide strategy, data oversight, consistency, and support so that every location benefits from a common, evidence-based approach to NCLEX readiness. This role requires availability across time zones to coordinate with campus teams and attend virtual meetings.

- In partnership with Business Intelligence, build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that give location and university leadership visibility into readiness trends by location, cohort, and program.
- Provide regular outcome reports and trend analysis to the Dean of Prelicensure Nursing, identifying risks, drivers of performance, and recommended actions.
- Support preparation of NCLEX outcome data for state board of nursing submissions and specialized nursing accreditation (for example, ACEN or CCNE) reporting.
Location Coordination and Support
- Serve as the central point of coordination for location-based NCLEX success coaches, testing coordinators, or comparable roles, ensuring consistent practice and shared best practices across the university.
- Facilitate regular location meetings and communities of practice focused on NCLEX readiness and student success strategies.
- Provide direct consultation to location leadership on remediation planning for at-risk students, cohorts, or programs.
- Support onboarding and ongoing professional development of location-level NCLEX readiness staff and faculty.
Continuous Improvement and Governance
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives related to licensure outcomes, incorporating findings into the centralized readiness framework.
- Monitor NCLEX test plan changes and emerging best practices in test-taking strategy, clinical judgment preparation, and readiness assessment, and translate these into updated guidance for campuses.
- Escalate systemic risks to licensure outcomes to the Dean of Prelicensure Nursing and, where appropriate, the AI Governance Committee or other institutional governance bodies for review.
- Represent Herzing University in relevant professional organizations and nursing education forums related to NCLEX success and student outcomes.
