Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage Branch Operations
  • Recruits, hires, trains, evaluates employee performance, and manages promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
  • Sets daily priorities and distributes work to processing team members. Balances workload to ensure closing deadlines are met
  • Provides support and resolutions to the challenges arising from branch operations
  • Monitors the work of staff members to ensure proper procedures are followed; provides training to correct any deficiencies
  • Administers employee's time cards and coordinates with HR in processing payroll
  • Facilitates a weekly pipeline meeting that reviews in detail every loan scheduled to close
  • Develops productivity and quality standards, measures, and reports on those
  • Works with Corporate partners to develop productivity and quality scorecards, incentives, and training for the departments
  • Reviews department policies and procedures. Provides continuous improvement by implementing system and process enhancements to increase productivity or quality
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with MS Office products.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting data.

• 5+ years of experience processing all types of mortgage loans
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience using available information to make sound business decisions
• Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid knowledge and understanding of organizing people, tasks, and activities to yield efficient work flow.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of conventional, government (FHA/VA) and Jumbo loan requirements.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of loan processing software systems.

• Basic knowledge of desktop underwriting programs
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of customer service best practices

Minimum Education Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent in education and experience

Physical Environment:

• This position is primarily an in office position. Normal office environment.

Travel:
Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs and/or events.
