  • Drive the use of core quality tools across sites, including PFMEA, control plans, MSA, and SPC.
  • Set and deliver annual targets for PPM, cost of poor quality, scrap, and warranty reduction.
  • Own the quality department budget and oversee test lab capabilities for thermal, acoustic, and material performance validation.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Program Management, and Sales to build quality into product and process design.
  • Report quality performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a comparable technical field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of quality experience in automotive manufacturing, including at least 5 years leading quality teams across multiple sites.
  • Deep working knowledge of IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and the AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
  • Proven success managing OEM and Tier-1 customer relationships, including leading containment and corrective action on high-visibility issues.
  • Experience leading certification and customer audits with successful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the communication skills to present to senior leadership and customers.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
