Legacy Engineering, Inc. is expanding into South Florida, and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated leader to help establish and grow our regional operations.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, building strong client relationships, overseeing projects, and helping shape the future of a growing organization.

You’ll have the support of an established Jacksonville-based team while helping develop a South Florida operation that reflects Legacy’s commitment to quality, service, and doing business the right way.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and develop Legacy’s South Florida operations, beginning in the West Palm Beach area.

· Oversee regional projects, client relationships, service quality, and operational performance.

· Recruit, mentor, and develop a strong local team as the region grows.

· Collaborate with engineering, inspection, and technical teams to deliver quality services.

· Build relationships with developers, contractors, builders, and industry professionals.

· Identify opportunities to expand services and support sustainable, profitable growth.

· Work closely with executive leadership on regional planning, staffing, budgets, and business performance.

· Promote a positive, accountable team culture aligned with Legacy’s values.

What We’re Looking For

· Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure: Preferred.

· Strong Connections: An established network across South Florida’s development and construction community — developers, contractors, builders, and industry professionals.

· Relationship Builder: A natural ability to earn trust, develop lasting client relationships, and turn those relationships into business growth.

· Background in engineering, construction, inspections, business development, or the AEC industry preferred. We value the right relationships and leadership ability over a specific number of years.

· Ability to lead teams, manage operations, and support a growing regional office.

· Experience with Private Provider Inspections, Plan Review, Threshold Inspections, Construction Materials Testing, or Geotechnical Engineering is a plus.

· Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
