Job Title: Director of Sales / Origination (Draft)

Role Overview:
As the Director of Sales / Origination you will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing a GTM strategy, identifying and securing high-value engagements, and managing the sales pipeline. The role requires a deep understanding of financial services, investment structures, and the GCC business landscape. The incumbent will be a revenue-generating leader, accountable for deal origination, client acquisition, and team development, ensuring a structured approach to market entry, capital raising, and M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy Execution
Develop and implement a GTM strategy focused on market entry, investment brokerage, and M&A advisory within the GCC.
Define and segment target industries, including technology, real estate, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, and financial services.
Structure deal engagement models with a mix of retainer-based (50-70%) and fee-based (30-50%) transactions.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, venture capital firms, private equity, and corporate entities.
Develop a roadmap for expanding into Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
Establish a strong brand presence through thought leadership, networking, and strategic partnerships.
2. Business Development & Revenue Generation
Originate and close high-value deals, ensuring minimum revenue targets are met.
Build and manage a pipeline of market entry, capital raising, and M&A opportunities, with a focus on transactions exceeding USD 10 million.
Drive lead generation through market research, referrals, industry events, and direct outreach.
Own and manage the end-to-end client engagement lifecycle, from sourcing to deal closure.
Negotiate commercial terms, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation for the business.
3. Due Diligence & Deal Structuring
Lead commercial and financial due diligence processes for potential transactions.
Assess client needs, structuring tailored market entry, investment, and M&A solutions.
Oversee risk assessments related to investments and partnerships.
Liaise with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
