Progressive Leasing is a leading provider of in-store and e-commerce lease-to-own solutions. With more than 20 years in FinTech, we’ve grown from start-up to industry leader by innovating, simplifying, and valuing people. We are a subsidiary of PROG Holdings (NYSE: PRG), a FinTech holding company with three business segments: Progressive Leasing, Purchasing Power (a leading employee purchase program for consumer products and services using payroll deduction), and Four, a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform.

We are currently hiring a Director, Partner Marketing to own and grow Progressive Leasing's marketing relationships with retail partners across enterprise, mid-market, regional, and e-commerce segments. This leader manages a team of Partner Marketing Managers who create innovative, partner-specific programs that drive GMV for our partners and for Progressive Leasing. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, you will work closely with Sales, eCommerce, Finance, and Product to build annual partner plans and hold the team accountable for results. This is a high-visibility role based in Draper, UT (hybrid) or remote.

Employee Value Proposition (EVP): PROG is dedicated to providing people with opportunity; opportunity for inclusive collaboration, opportunity for innovation, and opportunity for development.

WE ARE: A team of marketers, analysts, and creatives who turn retail partnerships into growth. We build partner-specific programs, from co-marketing and in-store promotions to lifecycle and paid media, that help our partners' customers get the things they need and drive GMV for everyone involved.

YOU ARE: A strategic, relationship-driven marketing leader with a track record of building plans that drive measurable GMV growth. You coach and develop teams, influence senior partners and executives, and let data guide your creativity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are the marketing voice to our most important retail relationships.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Own and grow marketing relationships with retail partners across enterprise, mid-market, regional, and e-commerce segments, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to partner marketing and merchandising leaders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Marketing Managers, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and growth paths
  • Drive innovative ideas and campaigns, including co-marketing, in-store and online promotions, lifecycle and CRM programs, paid and owned media, and seasonal and event-based activations, that increase GMV
  • Work with Sales leadership to build annual partner marketing plans, including goals, budgets, calendars, and campaign performance targets for each partner
  • Establish KPIs and reporting for partner campaigns; analyze performance with Analytics and Sales and translate results into optimizations and best practices that scale across the partner base
  • Build testing and learning frameworks to continuously improve campaign engagement, application volume, conversion, and GMV
  • Manage the partner marketing budget and co-op/marketing development funds, ensuring spend is aligned to ROI and partner strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Creative, CRM, Performance Media, Digital/E-commerce, Product, Analytics, and Legal/Compliance to deliver integrated partner programs
  • Develop partner-facing marketing toolkits, sales enablement materials, and training so partner associates and field teams effectively promote lease-to-own
  • Lead partner business reviews and present marketing plans, results, and opportunities to partners and executive leadership
  • Ensure all partner marketing materials comply with legal, regulatory, and brand governance requirements
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, partner segmentation, and long-term growth planning as a key voice in marketing leadership

YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or master's degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams
  • Experience in partner, channel, retail, shopper, or co-marketing, preferably within consumer finance, fintech, lease-to-own, retail, or e-commerce
  • Proven track record of building and executing marketing plans that drive measurable sales or GMV growth
  • Experience building relationships with and influencing external partners and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Sales teams on annual planning, goal setting, and performance management
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to measure campaign performance, manage ROI, and guide decisions

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and a partner-centric mindset
  • AI-enabled tools are already part of how work gets done across our organization, and their use will continue to expand over time. We value people who are curious, adaptable, and open to learning as roles and workflows evolve
