Salary: The annual salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $105,000 depending on experience and skill set.

Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position. In-person attendance at GLN's main office and production facilities is required throughout the year, more often than for most GLN roles, for equipment setup, technical testing, production planning, partner collaboration, staff development, and events. Schedule demands vary, with extended onsite periods, evenings, and weekends during major production periods. Outside professional engagements may be considered with prior approval, provided GLN responsibilities remain the clear priority.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Global Leadership Summit Broadcast & Production Leadership

  • Owns the Summit technical production and broadcast plan, setting technologies, delivery models, staffing, equipment, workflows, testing, and contingency plans with input from contracted production leaders and technical specialists. Sets technical standards and directs implementation of broadcast, streaming, distribution, captioning, interpretation, and access requirements across all Summit viewing environments.
  • Leads alignment and accountability with key production partners, including in-room production, venue, and broadcast and streaming partners. Recruits, contracts, and leads production and broadcast personnel supporting partner host sites, prison sites, and the Online Experience.
  • Makes real-time technical and operational decisions during the Summit, including escalation, troubleshooting, and response.
  • Manages broadcast and production budgets, vendor agreements, staffing plans, and equipment resources. Evaluates outcomes and sets improvement priorities for future Summits.

2. Partner Host Site Technical Leadership & Readiness (Year-Round)

  • Sets the year-round technical readiness strategy for partner host sites, including technical requirements, expectations, and readiness milestones. Monitors participation and addresses gaps early.
  • Builds and continuously improves the systems, resources, onboarding, training, testing, and communication channels that equip host sites to receive and deliver the Summit.
  • Builds a collaborative community among host-site Technical Directors and Producers. Leads technical support and troubleshooting for host sites before and during the Summit.
  • Directs contracted operational support for host-site communications, onboarding, training coordination, readiness tracking, equipment logistics, and administration. Owns host-site equipment programs, including screen and projector rentals, shipping, and vendor escalation, working with relevant GLN teams on site needs.

3. Production Leadership Across All GLN Events

  • Leads technical production planning and execution for GLN events beyond the Summit, including Basecamp, Master Classes, and staff and organizational gatherings. Determines technical approach, staffing, equipment, and resources to support the creative vision set by the Director of Creative Production, balancing quality and budget.
  • Provides hands-on technical leadership when appropriate, engaging and overseeing contracted personnel and vendors. Builds strong relationships with venue production teams and technical partners for coordinated planning, reliable execution, and continuous improvement.

4. GLN Leadership & Performance Management

  • Sets priorities for contracted operational support, technical specialists, and production personnel within agreed scopes. Monitors deliverables and addresses performance concerns through appropriate vendor or organizational channels.
