Director, Program Management

Date: Aug 28, 2026 Location: Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Director, Program Management (Hybrid) Full time, Tokyo, Japan For this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of program managers or a major account. You will be accountable for achieving the company's goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client and BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation. As a Director, Program Management, you will Provide oversight and direction of the team, including performance/activity updates with stakeholders Ensure multi-level, strategic client relationships are being established Support the development of clients and department budget Evaluate and analyze the department budget and provide improvement recommendations to department leadership Lead the account management team to develop strategic client business plans to achieve the client and BCD Travel's objectives Explore opportunities to expand client servicing relationships through (regional or global) expansion Lead or support the negotiation process for the development of Service Level Agreements Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy in a timely manner Manage the performance of direct reports and downline employees About you Extensive relevant management work experience Experience as an account manager in a corporate environment Business travel industry experience is preferred Computer literate in business software applications Excellent written and communication skills in English and Japanese Ability and willingness to travel domestically What we offer you At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
