Job Description:

PairSoft is looking for a quality leader who sees QA as a strategic function — not a gate at the end of a delivery cycle, but a discipline that runs through how software is designed, built, and operated. You will lead an existing team of 15 -20 members and take ownership of both the quality function and a broader mandate around process improvement across the engineering organization.
We are looking for someone who brings their own point of view on where the friction is and how to reduce it — not someone who waits to be told what to fix.

Location: PAN India ( remote)

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Lead and develop a QA team of 15 -20 across multiple product lines, setting quality standards and building a culture of engineering discipline.
  • Define and own the testing strategy across the portfolio — spanning functional, regression, integration, and non-functional quality dimensions.
  • Identify and drive process improvement initiatives across the engineering organization, with a focus on measurable outcomes over process theater.
  • Establish metrics and reporting that give leadership meaningful visibility into quality trends, not just pass/fail counts.
  • Work across ERP integration surfaces and enterprise deployment contexts to ensure quality standards account for the complexity of the customer environments PairSoft operates in.
  • Build a team capable of scaling with the organization — developing talent, closing skill gaps, and raising the floor across the QA function.
Requirements

The right candidate will have a track record in quality leadership within enterprise software — not consumer applications, not early-stage startups and not consulting projects. The complexity of enterprise environments, long release cycles, and integration-heavy architectures is where this person should feel at home.

  • Significant experience leading QA teams in enterprise software organizations, with direct ownership of quality outcomes across multiple products or platforms.
  • A point of view on process improvement that goes beyond quality — someone who has looked at how engineering organizations work and found better ways to sequence, coordinate, or structure that work.
  • Familiarity with financial software environments — understanding the stakes of defects in systems that touch financial transactions, document integrity, or compliance workflows.
  • Experience working with or around ERP ecosystems, where integration complexity and customer environment variability create non-trivial quality challenges.
  • The ability to operate at both a strategic and a working level — comfortable defining a testing philosophy and equally comfortable getting into the detail when it matters.
  • Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders — able to translate quality data into business-relevant narrative.

Work and Physical Requirements

This position may work from home and/or office environment. Working in an office environment may require prolonged sitting, work in an air-conditioned environment, ability to work with others at various noise levels and ability to lift up to 30 pounds or 15 kg.

Other Duties

This job description is not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned by management that may reasonably fit in the scope of job.
