As the world’s most analyst-recognized and largest pure-play managed security services provider, LevelBlue elevates client outcomes that matter: stronger defense, faster response, and sustained business continuity. LevelBlue combines AI-powered security operations, advanced threat intelligence, and elite human expertise to provide the most comprehensive portfolio of strategic advisory, managed security, offensive security, and incident response services.
LevelBlue is seeking a Director, Revenue Accounting & Consolidation to lead revenue accounting, the close and consolidation process, financial reporting, audit readiness, and accounting-process improvement across a growing, multi-entity global business.
This role will serve as the internal accounting leader for LevelBlue’s finance stabilization and transformation agenda. The Director will be accountable for resolving historical revenue-accounting and contract-data matters; establishing repeatable, controlled processes; and partnering with Finance Operations, Finance Systems, Tax, Legal, business leaders, and external advisors to embed sustainable outcomes into ongoing operations. The role is a hands-on leadership position requiring sound technical judgment, strong execution discipline, and the ability to operate effectively amid incomplete data and evolving systems.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead the accounting work required to complete and sustain FY24/FY25 remediation, including customer-to-contract, contract-to-billing, billing-to-revenue, cash-to-AR, and revenue-to-GL reconciliations; deferred-revenue rollforwards; and appropriately supported accounting adjustments.
- Establish a timely, repeatable monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including close calendars, account reconciliations, review controls, issue escalation, and documentation standards.
- Lead multi-entity consolidation, including entity reporting packages, intercompany accounting and eliminations, foreign-entity coordination, and consolidated financial reporting support.
- Serve as Controllership’s business owner for consolidation-process design and finance transformation initiatives, including business requirements, accounting design, testing, user acceptance, parallel close, control design, and adoption for any systems upgrades.
- Partner with Finance Systems and IT on data flows, master-data requirements, source-of-truth standards, and the NetSuite/ERP integration roadmap; Finance Systems and IT retain responsibility for technical solution design and implementation.
- Partner with Finance Operations, which owns invoicing and collections execution, to ensure billing, AR, contract, and cash data support complete and accurate accounting and revenue recognition.
- Lead audit readiness, including PBC coordination, accounting memoranda, support for audit requests, remediation of audit findings, and delivery against the external-audit and statutory-reporting calendar.
- Support accounting for acquisitions and integrations, including purchase accounting, opening-balance-sheet activities, accounting-policy harmonization, entity onboarding, and post-close reporting integration.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures, including intercompany processes and coordination with Tax on transfer-pricing requirements.
- Direct and develop accounting team members; set clear accountability, build capabilities, and reduce key-person dependencies.
- Manage and challenge external advisors: define accounting requirements, review analyses and recommendations, approve accounting conclusions, and ensure work products are fully documented and operationalized.
