Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to guide the architecture, engineering delivery, modernization, and operational performance of our inbound communications platform.

This leader will oversee technology that receives, captures, classifies, extracts, routes, and delivers information from physical mail, paper and digital forms, email, fax, mobile, desktop uploads, and system-to-system file transfers. The portfolio includes imaging, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, AI-enabled document intelligence, integrations, and platform services.

What You Will Lead

  • Multichannel document and communications intake, including mail, forms, email, fax, mobile, uploads, and file transfers
  • Imaging, scanning, classification, indexing, OCR, and data extraction
  • Workflow automation, validations, exception handling, approvals, and routing
  • AI-enabled document classification, extraction, summarization, and human-in-the-loop review
  • Integrations with client, Broadridge, content, payment, and downstream systems
  • Platform reliability, security, scalability, observability, and disaster recovery

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technology strategy, target architecture, roadmap, and delivery plan for the platform.
  • Lead architecture, engineering, modernization, and production operations across capture, workflow, document intelligence, AI, security, and integrations.
  • Establish reusable technology standards, APIs, integration patterns, engineering practices, and implementation guardrails.
  • Lead the use of AI, machine learning, OCR, and document intelligence to improve classification, extraction, validation, exception handling, and workflow automation.
  • Ensure AI capabilities include appropriate controls for security, privacy, accuracy, monitoring, auditability, and human oversight.
  • Provide technical leadership for Tungsten TotalAgility (formerly Kofax TotalAgility) and related capture, OCR, workflow, and integration technologies, where applicable.
  • Build and lead strong architecture, engineering, quality, platform, and AI/data teams.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Implementation, Sales, Client Relations, Security, and business leaders to deliver scalable client solutions.
  • Support strategic client opportunities by communicating architecture, capabilities, integration approaches, security controls, and delivery considerations.
  • Drive standard solutions and reusable enhancements while reducing unnecessary customization and technical debt.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology leadership experience in software engineering, architecture, platform engineering, or technology delivery.
  • Experience with inbound communications, document capture, imaging, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, document management, or business process automation.
  • Experience leading enterprise architecture, engineering teams, multi-year roadmaps, and large-scale technology delivery.
  • Experience with OCR, AI-enabled extraction, document intelligence, machine learning, or automation in document-centric processes.
  • Strong understanding of secure, scalable, highly available enterprise platforms, APIs, integrations, DevSecOps, and production support.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tungsten TotalAgility, Kofax Capture, or comparable capture, OCR, workflow, and digital mailroom platforms.
  • Experience with generative AI, natural-language processing, retrieval-based AI, or AI-assisted decisioning in enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, model monitoring, data privacy, auditability, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, microservices, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, observability, and cybersecurity practices.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • A clear technology strategy, target architecture, and scalable roadmap.
  • Reliable, secure, high-performing document intake, workflow, and AI-enabled automation capabilities.
  • Improved processing speed, extraction accuracy, automation rates, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Faster, more predictable client implementations and technology releases.
  • Reduced technical debt, manual work, unnecessary customization, and operational risk.
  • Strong alignment across Technology, Product, Operations, Sales, Implementation, and Client Relations.
