Director, Supply Chain
The Director, Supply Chain is a highly visible leadership role responsible for optimizing planning, procurement, inventory management, quality/testing, and warehousing across the business unit to meet SLAs. Operating with a global mindset, this role partners with regional and global leaders and cross-functional teams to drive supply chain performance. As a transformation leader, the Director modernizes systems, data, and processes while building a connected, scalable operating model. Success is defined by maximizing part availability and meeting customer expectations for time, quality, and cost efficiency to deliver best-in-class results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain transformation by defining and driving the modernization roadmap across systems, data, and processes, including the rollout, adoption, optimization, and performance management of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D-365), Prophet, ServicePath, ServiceNow, BI reporting, and related tools.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Service Delivery, Sales, Customer Success, Field Engineering, Finance, and Product to align supply chain priorities with broader business goals.
- Apply a global mindset by aligning regional execution to a unified global supply chain strategy and sharing best practices across regions.
- Lead materials planning, procurement, and inventory management to ensure planning accuracy, timely purchase order issuance, localized inventory availability, and continuity of supply.
- Manage the procurement team and supplier network to secure material flow at the best total cost, balancing regional sourcing needs with a global perspective.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to confirm shipping schedules, monitor open purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Oversee warehousing, storage, and freight operations across the region, including site setup as needed, budget alignment, and inbound/outbound cost management in line with customer expectations.
- Drive inventory performance at the part-number level, including tracking, reporting, lifecycle management, alternates, scrapping, LOCOM, and related KPIs.
- Ensure quality and continuous improvement across the business unit, including readiness to meet SLA commitments and support pursuit drills.
- Analyze the impact of new product introductions on planning processes, warehouse capabilities, and systems readiness.
- Maintain accurate planning, purchase order, and shipment tracking records within D-365 or other designated systems, and provide regional supply status updates as needed.
- Proactively identify and communicate material availability risks, including impacts to existing operations and new customer opportunities.
- Partner with demand planning teams to ensure inventory is stocked appropriately to meet service requirements.
- Manage performance against key operational metrics, including part availability for Severity 1 incidents, regional drop ship performance, CSAT, and other agreed business KPIs.
- Provide effective leadership for the team through coaching, regular feedback, performance management, and ongoing 1:1 development.
- Maintain working knowledge of regional import/export requirements and leverage internal expertise when needed.
- Participate in leadership meetings and other assigned duties in support of business objectives.
- Ensure effective out-of-hours coverage for the business unit

Requirements:
- 10 years’ of related experience.
- 8+ years’ leadership experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application.
- Strong analytical, financial, planning and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of leading business or systems transformation and change management at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate across functions and geographies with a global mindset.
- Flexibility for international travel is required to establish the global supply base.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D-365), ServiceNow, ServicePath or comparable ERP, CRM and forecasting tools.
