This is a unique opportunity to build organizational capability while making a meaningful impact on the employee experience.
This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.
What you’ll do:

- Partner with leaders, People & Culture teams, and external providers to deliver coordinated case management and return-to-work outcomes.
- Champion a positive employee experience by guiding individuals through leave, accommodation, and return-to-work journeys.
- Advance program effectiveness through data-driven insights, process improvements, and industry best practice implementation.
Who you’ll work with:
You will report to the Supervisor, Compensation, Benefits & Pension on a team that values collaboration, community, and support. Specialists on this team are each responsible for a portfolio of stakeholders but work together to provide excellent service to the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). You will have the opportunity to work with professionals across our People & Culture team and will support employees in a variety of industries.
Why it matters:
We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.
Who you are:

- Have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in human resources, specializing in disability management and WCB leave administration, accommodation, and return-to-work coordination.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration, preferably majoring in HR (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Professional designation such as CDMP, CRTWC, or equivalent disability management certification is considered an asset.
What we offer:
- Competitive salaries, short-term incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
- Encouragement to take advantage of learning opportunities to grow and develop as a Team Member.
- As a co-operative, we do business differently. We believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth. To learn more about who we are and what we offer, visit www.fcl.crs.
