DocSis Engineer

Job Description This is a remote position. The Castillian was placed successfully to one of the clients in the Telecommunication Sector and is currently focused on the following key tasks: Designing, maintaining, and upgrading ISP access/core/distribution/transit infrastructure. Designing and supporting enterprise networks for corporate clients. Supporting the upgrade from the client’s old Cisco system to the new Harmonic Cable OS. Managing continuous migration of clients to new CMTS nodes, designing the plan on how to execute the migrations, ensuring data connections for customers are properly transitioned, both for business and residential customers. Investigating and resolving issues identified during client migration and operational processes. Monitoring migration progress and ensuring tasks remain on track. Collaborating closely with the team and providing guidance and assistance to junior team members in resolving operational challenges. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that all components of the upgrade are properly configured and functioning as expected.
