What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Documentation Matching & Drafting Analyst to join an international project within the financial services sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of transaction documentation and trade records. Acting as a key control function within post-trade operations, you will work closely with business, legal, compliance, IT, and operational teams to ensure documentation is aligned with executed transactions, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in financial markets, derivatives, and post-trade processes.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Draft and review legal confirmations for a wide range of financial products;

• Ensure transaction documentation is aligned with executed trades and supporting records;

• Perform trade validation and reconciliation activities before documentation is issued;

• Review transaction details to identify and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies;

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and established deadlines;

• Investigate and manage exceptions related to confirmations and trade documentation;

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve documentation issues;

• Support post-trade lifecycle events and documentation-related requests;

• Maintain accurate records and ensure full auditability of processes;

• Collaborate with legal, compliance, technology, and operations teams to ensure process efficiency;

• Contribute to operational controls, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives;

• Provide timely reporting and escalation of issues when required.

Your Main Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial operations, trade support, middle office, documentation management, or similar functions;

• Knowledge of financial products such as Swaps, Forwards, Options, and related derivatives instruments;

• Understanding of transaction lifecycle and post-trade processes;

• Experience reviewing and validating trade documentation;

• Familiarity with regulatory and control requirements within financial services environments;

• Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
