About Factify
AI agents are starting to make decisions in regulated enterprises, including US banks and insurers. Factify turns an organization's policies, documents and real-world practice into a sealed, executable rulebook that governs how those agents decide. Every decision is traceable, auditable and ratified by the people who own the process.
The role
You will be our US banking expert. You will map how critical decisions are actually made inside US banks, starting with credit decisions from application intake to final approval. You will find where policy and practice diverge, and encode that into rules that an AI agent can execute and a credit committee or examiner can defend. As our work expands, you will cover more of the bank's critical processes.
What you'll do
- Map end-to-end loan origination flows for consumer, small business and commercial lending: intake, KYC/BSA/AML, income and collateral verification, credit analysis, underwriting, approval and exceptions.
- Map other critical bank processes as customer needs arise, using your own experience of how they run in practice.
- Analyze credit policies, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Surface conflicts, gaps and ambiguous thresholds.
- Define and validate decision rules (eligibility, DTI/DSCR/LTV limits, covenants, pricing and escalation criteria) with bank process owners.
- Build realistic test cases and golden-label datasets (approve / decline / refer) with documented supporting evidence.
- Review agent decisions against real banking practice and flag where the rulebook or the agent is wrong.
- Advise product and engineering on what US banking teams need, and what breaks in production.
Requirements
- 10+ years in banking at a US bank, credit union or lender, with deep expertise in credit, underwriting, loan operations or credit risk. Commercial lending experience is valuable.
- Working knowledge of US banking regulation and supervision: ECOA/Reg B, fair lending, HMDA, TILA/RESPA, BSA/AML, OCC/FDIC/Fed model risk and credit risk guidance, and CECL.
- Experience documenting or redesigning bank processes (SOPs, BPMN, audit or model-governance work).
- The ability to turn "it depends" into explicit conditions, thresholds and exceptions.
- Availability for regular overlap with our Tel Aviv team.
- Clear written and verbal communication with bank leaders, executives and engineers.
- Location: Remote (US), with regular overlap with our Tel Aviv team (US Eastern morning hours).
Strong advantage
Hands-on experience in any core banking process is a major asset. Knowing additional processes from the inside broadens the range of business problems you can solve, for example:
- Customer onboarding, KYC, and CDD/EDD.
- AML transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and SAR filing.
- Payments, cash management, and liquidity operations.
- Fraud detection and dispute handling.
- Collections, debt restructuring, and loan workouts.
- Deposit operations and account servicing.
- Trade finance and commercial banking operations.
- Regulatory reporting and compliance testing.
- Credit risk, model risk, and third-party risk management.
- Complaint handling and exam readiness.
Nice to have
- Experience at a fintech, a digital lender or a Big 4 financial-services practice.
- Exposure to decision engines, core banking and loan origination systems, or AI governance.
- FRM, CFA, CAMS or equivalent credentials.
