Domestic Energy Assessor

We are seeking an experienced Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or Qualified Retrofit Assessor to provide remote support to active Retrofit Assessors. This role involves assisting with floor plans, calculations, and general administrative tasks related to energy assessments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using floor plan software such as MagicPlan, have a strong understanding of RdSAP conventions, and be able to accurately calculate extensions. Key Responsibilities: Producing accurate floor plans using MagicPlan or similar software. Ensuring all measurements and calculations align with RdSAP conventions, particularly for extensions and complex property layouts. Supporting retrofit assessors with data input, quality assurance, and report preparation. Conducting administrative tasks to streamline assessment workflows. Delivering work promptly within agreed timescales. Maintaining accuracy and compliance with industry standards and best practices. Essential Requirements: Qualified DEA or Retrofit Assessor with experience in energy assessments. Strong understanding of RdSAP methodology and conventions. Proficiency in MagicPlan or similar floor plan software. Ability to calculate property extensions correctly according to industry guidelines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Reliable internet connection and necessary software/hardware for remote work. Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience with retrofit coordination or PAS 2035 workflows. Familiarity with energy efficiency funding schemes in England & Wales. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Previous experience supporting other energy professionals remotely.
