Your Role as Donor Data Associate The Donor Data Associate is responsible for detailed entry of donor gifts and data, database management and integrity, responding to timely data requests for lists or other needs, and managing the online fundraising platform. Under the direction of the Development Operations Manager, this position works closely with the National Development Team, and seven Site Development teams across the country as well as the National Finance and Information Technology teams using various procedures, processes, and innovative technological tools. Gift entry and acknowledgement: Assist with daily gift entry into the Salesforce database ensuring gifts are coded properly, and relevant donor and reporting information is captured. Prepare acknowledgement letters using Apsona for gifts on a weekly basis as well as annual giving summaries in January. Digital Fundraising Support: Review gifts made online to ensure accuracy. Create donation and event pages in GoFundMe Pro (formerly Classy). Help the Development Operations Manager and IT team maintain the integration between GoFundMe Pro and Salesforce. Mailing lists, queries and reports : Pull necessary segmented lists from the Salesforce database for various donor lists, newsletters, solicitations and other mailings or e-blasts. Run standard reports as needed to track progress toward goals and assist with the creation of fundraising dashboards for development team members. Record Management: Ensure data integrity and consistency of donor information stored in the database. Keep User's Manual up-to-date, provide necessary training on the database to new employees. Internal Customer Service: Provide support and respond to specific requests from Development colleagues related to fundraising data, donor lists, reports and dashboards, or other needs to assist with their fundraising efforts. Special projects and other duties as assigned. What You Bring Education/Certifications/Licenses: Associate's degree in related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Related Work Experience: 2-5 years of experience in fundraising or nonprofit operations management, including database and gifts processing management systems; 1-3 years of experience with Salesforce NPSP and GoFundMe Pro, or experience with equivalent platforms required; Experience supporting development teams in multiple departments or sites, and responsibility for other fundraising and administrative tasks preferred; Computer/Software Skills: Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint General proficiency and experience with fundraising database systems and gifts processing tools and related best practices Familiarity with Salesforce NPSP and GoFundMe Pro preferred; Familiarity with Apsona and iwave is a plus.
