Position Summary:

The Donor Operations Specialist will support donor center operations. This includes but is not limited to facilitating scheduling, database management, donor recruitment, retention and recall, and order management. The position requires excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, close interaction with staff, donors, vendors, and great management skills. This is a temporary position, lasting approximately 6 months.

A Day in the Life of a Donor Operations Specialist at Discovery Life Sciences:

• Review donor schedules, collection capacity, and open customer orders.
• Coordinate donor appointments and communicate scheduling updates across teams.
• Maintain donor, collection, and order data in Salesforce and operational tracking systems.
• Support donor recruitment, retention, and recall efforts to meet collection needs.
• Monitor fulfillment, compliance, and KPI metrics to ensure on-time product delivery and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):

• Associate degree required
• 5 years of relevant work experience required

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all site Donor Center operations, compliance, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor day-to-day Donor Center operations to support uninterrupted product distribution and on-time, in-full collections.
• Serve as an order liaison with Project Management, verifying project details, coordinating donor scheduling, and communicating order status.
• Review open orders and donor availability to identify scheduling needs, track progress toward fulfillment, and escalate potential delays.
• Coordinate site collection and lab capacity to support order placement within operational capabilities, making capacity adjustments as directed by site leadership
• Coordinate with Donor Management, Collection, Lab, and Project Management teams to confirm collection readiness and communicate scheduling changes.
• Maintain accurate order, donor, and collection information in Salesforce and shared planning tools.
• Assist Donor Management with donor identification, retention, and sourcing to meet current and anticipated collection needs.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and KPI tracking related to donor recruitment, on-time and in-full product delivery, collection capacity, and nonconforming events
• Respect and protect the privacy of personal information belonging to donors, patients, staff, and all individuals with whom the Company interacts.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and Company policies applicable to the role and Donor Center operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may occasionally be unrelated to the position described.
• Maintain consistent and predictable on-site attendance as an essential function of the position.

Compensation and Benefits:

Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $70,000 -$75,000 per year. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. Location and work hours:

• THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITON. Contract length - approximately 6 months
• Work schedule: Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm
• Location: Remote
