SPH Engineering builds drone-based sensing solutions for survey, inspection and data collection. Our portfolio includes UgCS flight planning software, SkyHub onboard integration hardware, and a range of payloads: magnetometers, ground-penetrating radar, single- and multibeam echo sounders, side-scan sonar, methane detectors, gamma-ray spectrometers and water samplers. Our solutions work with leading drone platforms from different manufacturers. Founded in 2013 in Riga, Latvia (EU), we serve customers and partners in 150+ countries. SPH Technologies Inc., our US entity in Texas, is the hub for customers across the US, Canada and Latin America.
We are looking for a hands-on Drone Systems Technician to run our US operations and demo program. You will build and ship systems from our Texas stock, show customers what our technology can do in the field, and help them succeed after delivery. This is a role for someone who enjoys working with hardware on the bench and flying it in the field, and who wants to grow with a fast-expanding office.

Assemble, configure and test orders, including MagNIMBUS magnetometer systems and multibeam, side-scan sonar and single-beam echo sounder systems, following SPH procedures
Run pre-shipment quality checks and prepare shipping and export documentation for the US, Canada and Latin America
Handle RMA intake and first-level diagnostics on returned equipment
Demos and field work
Prepare and run regular product demos (at least monthly) for customers, distributors and partners across the Americas, together with the sales team
Fly as pilot and payload operator during demos and customer proofs of concept, and help prepare the resulting data and reports
Support trade shows, field days and customer events
Customer support and training
Provide technical support for SPH hardware and software through Jira Service Desk, email and phone, and escalate to R&D in Riga when needed
Deliver on-site and remote training on system setup, first flights and data acquisition
Help create and localize training materials and user guides in English and Spanish
Share field feedback and recurring issues with Product and R&D
