DSI Mobile Enterprise / Cloud Inventory Platform Developer (JD Edwards) | Contract

Who you are:

We are seeking experienced DSI Developers to support our client’s mobile data collection, warehouse automation, and barcode labeling initiatives integrated with JD Edwards. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in DSI Mobile Enterprise Platform (MEP) and Cloud Inventory Platform (CIP) Application Studio, DSI dcLINK, and barcode labeling solutions (e.g., Loftware, Unibar, DSI EPP), along with solid functional knowledge of JD Edwards Distribution, Warehouse, and Manufacturing.

What will you be doing?

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile data collection applications using DSI MEP and Cloud Inventory Platform Application Studio.
• Integrate DSI applications with JDE EnterpriseOne transactions (receiving, putaway, picking, transfers, cycle counts, shipping, work order completions).
• Modify and support legacy DSI dcLINK transaction scripts using TranBuilder.
• Design and maintain barcode label formats using Loftware, Unibar ELS, and DSI EPP.
• Troubleshoot issues across DSI Mobile Client, handheld devices, label printers, and JDE transaction processing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, warehouse operations, and business users to gather requirements, create new or modify existing scripts and deliver solutions.
• Support DSI platform and JDE upgrades, including retrofit of custom mobile applications and labels.
• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and deploy across environments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to offshore/onshore teams as needed.
• Develop technical design documents (TDDs), functional specs, testing documentation, and end-user training materials.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 10+ years of experience developing and supporting DSI mobile data collection solutions for JD Edwards.
• Strong expertise in DSI MEP Application Studio (7.8–9.0) and Cloud Inventory Platform Application Studio (9.5).
• Hands-on experience with DSI dcLINK TranBuilder scripting and TranCollector.
• Strong functional knowledge of JDE Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales Order, Purchasing/Receiving, and Manufacturing modules.
• Experience designing barcode labels with Loftware, Unibar ELS, and/or DSI EPP.
• Experience supporting RF handheld devices, DSI Mobile Client, and thermal label printers (e.g., Zebra).
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1/9.2; exposure to OneWorld XE/8.x or JDE World A7.3/A9.3 a plus.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and transaction troubleshooting.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the device, middleware, and ERP layers.
• Experience with offshore/onshore delivery models.
