The University of Pikeville maintains a pool of adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and student learning. This application is for a position as a Dual Credit Instructor with UPIKE’s Dual Credit Program. Applicants must be currently employed with one of our high school partners to be considered for the position. Responsibilities: Teaching the assigned course/s, uploading course materials to UPIKE’s learning management system (if needed), entering student grades, and adhering to all related deadlines and policies. Submitting a copy of syllabi to the Dual Credit Instructor each semester. Tutoring and mentoring students as needed. Regular and responsive communication with the Dual Credit Coordinator and Dean of the appropriate college. Requirements: Must have a minimum of a master’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the course you wish to teach. Must have excellent organizational, communication, teaching and decision-making skills. Review of applications occur as needed within each division of the College.
