As a Dynamics Engineer, you will join Chetwood at an exciting stage in our Dynamics 365 journey. With the platform still relatively new to the Bank, you’ll have a real opportunity to shape how it evolves, influence how it is engineered and build Dynamics expertise across the team. Alongside this, you’ll gain exposure to our wider technology stack, helping you grow into a well-rounded engineer across our shared banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical owner and Dynamics 365 subject matter expert, shaping the platform’s development and roadmap.
- Design, build and enhance Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Dataverse solutions, including integrations with the Bank’s wider technology platforms.
- Build Dynamics capability in-house by establishing engineering standards, improving documentation and supporting automated testing and deployment.
- Ensure the platform is secure, resilient and well-governed, meeting the Bank’s security, data protection and operational resilience requirements.
- Provide expert support for incidents, changes and technical issues, driving continuous improvement in platform quality and reliability.
- Work closely with Customer Operations, Product and Technology to translate business needs into effective, well-engineered solutions.
- Share Dynamics expertise across Shared Bank Services, mentoring and upskilling colleagues to build wider team capability.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform and Dataverse, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
- Experience designing, building and integrating Dynamics solutions, including custom development, data modelling, Power Automate and APIs.
- Understanding of Dynamics application lifecycle management, including source control, testing and automated deployment.
- Knowledge of security, data protection and operational resilience, with an understanding of how CRM supports positive customer outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative, delivery-focused approach with a passion for sharing knowledge and developing others.
- A desire to broaden your technical skills beyond Dynamics, particularly across Python and AWS.
- Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications would be desirable.
