Role Description

The E-Commerce Assistant Manager (Road to Manager) is a full-time, remote role for a Malaysia-based candidate, working closely with our Singapore team.

Our website is our store — and this role owns it. You'll manage day-to-day e-commerce operations (product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory coordination, and order accuracy) while taking ownership of the customer: converting visitors into buyers, guiding their skincare journey, and growing repeat purchase and membership over time.

You'll monitor sales and conversion performance, ana lyze customer behavior and campaign results, and turn those numbers into action and online customer conversations across WhatsApp, DMs and chat. Above all, you'll improve the online shopping experience, find growth opportunities, and prepare to step into a full Manager role.

Qualifications

• Strong e-commerce knowledge, including hands-on experience with online marketplaces/ platforms (Shopee and/or Lazada) and brand websites (Shopify a plus).
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, written and spoken, to serve both audiences with warmth and clarity.
• Experience managing or supervising people, and readiness to lead a small team.
• Solid analytical skills — able to interpret sales, conversion, and customer data and recommend data-driven improvements.
• A conversion and growth mindset: skilled at promotions, upselling, cross-selling, and improving conversion across online channels (not just processing orders).
• AI-savvy — you already use AI tools (Claude a plus) to work faster.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with genuine empathy for customers on a skincare journey.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
