Experience with Linux shell scripting / PERL scripting preferred

Experience with programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, .NET) within Financial Services preferred

Prior experience with job scheduling with BMC Control-M or equivalent (Cron, Tivoli, Autosys) preferred

Experience with middleware packages including IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker or equivalent (BizTalk) preferred

Experience with Agile software development, Scrum, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for managing code and user stories preferred.

Experience in the buy-side Investment Management Industry and major data domains including Equity, Fixed-Income, Security Master, Positions & Lots, Trades, Corporate Actions, Prices/FX Rates, Cash, Benchmarks strongly preferred

Experience with Cloud Based Enterprise Data Warehouses (Azure) as well as familiarity with Data Bricks Preferred

Knowledge of Investment Management systems (Eagle, Charles River, etc.) preferred

Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously

Ability to work cohesively in a team environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

BA skills such as requirements gathering and good communication skills and documentation skills will be required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $120.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
