Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Eagle STAR/PACE Developer & L2/L3 Production Support Analyst to support and enhance investment management applications. The role involves approximately 70% production support and 30% development, focusing on incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data workflows, and production releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Eagle STAR (Performance & Reporting) and Eagle PACE (Data Management).

  • Monitor and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshoot recurring issues.

  • Support batch processing, job scheduling, data validation, and workflow monitoring.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to Security Master, pricing, transactions, ratings, and performance reporting.

  • Use Oracle SQL/PL-SQL for data analysis and production issue resolution.

  • Support release deployments, change management, and post-deployment validation.

  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, business, and offshore/onshore teams.

  • Maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Mandatory Skills

  • 6+ years of overall IT experience.

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting Eagle STAR and Eagle PACE.

  • Strong experience in L2/L3 production support.

  • Eagle STAR – Performance and Reporting.

  • Eagle PACE – Data Workflows, Security Master, Pricing, Transactions, and Ratings.

  • Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and Eagle Data Model.

  • Understanding of SDLC, change management, and production release processes.

  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

  • Willingness to work in EST timings (pure night shift).

Domain Knowledge

  • Investment Management / Asset Management.

  • Security reference data and corporate actions.

  • Pricing, portfolio positions, and transactions.

  • Performance measurement concepts, preferably Time-Weighted Return (TWR).

Good to Have

  • Control-M or Autosys job scheduling.

  • FactSet or other performance measurement systems.

  • Eagle Accounting.

  • Performance attribution experience.

Required Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.

  • Experience working in an onshore/offshore support model.
