Originally founded out of the Westminster Pastoral Foundation, a charity providing low‑cost counselling to individuals in need, CiC has always been rooted in clinical expertise and accessibility. We were also the first organisation to be audited by the EAP professional body (EAPA), and we continue to maintain an active presence on its board. Since its inception, CiC has grown significantly and now offers a comprehensive range of holistic wellbeing and psychological services across the globe. We believe that an Employee Assistance Programme must be trusted, valued, and relied upon by those who use it. For this reason, we prioritise exceptional service at every stage, from matching individuals with the right support to ensuring the clinical quality of our advice. Our EAP service is clinically delivered from end to end. We continuously develop and refine it through data analysis and feedback to ensure individuals receive the support they need and experience meaningful improvements in their health and wellbeing. We also invest intentionally in recruiting a diverse and highly experienced team of staff and counsellors, enabling us to provide consistent quality and access to specialist therapeutic expertise. Location: Fully Remote (Confidential workspace required), with occasional travel to Birmingham and London Hours: 31.5 hours per week Working Pattern: 4 days/shifts Monday–Friday between 8am–8.30pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays Salary: £29,500 (Pro Rata): Under 250 post-qualification clinical hours £30,500 (Pro Rata): 250+ post-qualification clinical hours For almost 40 years, CiC Wellbeing has delivered high‑quality Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), Psychological Services, and Trauma Support to organisations around the world. We are now looking for a dedicated BACP or UKCP registered Counsellor to join our experienced team of Telephone Counsellors on our Support Line. What You’ll Be Doing As an EAP Support Line Telephone Counsellor, you will: Provide emotional and psychological support to employees across our client organisations Respond to inbound and outbound calls, understand presenting needs, and identify appropriate next steps Refer individuals to counselling and specialist services, including legal, financial, and practical support Deliver structured in‑house counselling sessions, ranging from Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to more complex interventions such as EMDR or CBT, depending on your clinical competencies Ensure accurate and timely updates to client records following each contact Signpost to additional resources and appropriate support networks A recognised counselling qualification Current BACP or UKCP registration Experience working with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds Desirable: 250+ post‑qualification clinical hours Previous experience in an EAP or telephone counselling environment Most importantly, we're seeking counsellors with a genuine passion for helping others, committed to making a positive impact on lives every day.
