DTV Africa – East Africa Business Development & Operations Manager

Location: Remote – Kenya preferred; applications welcome from across Africa.

Remuneration: 100% commission-based. No salary, retainer or expense advances.

DTV Africa is expanding its television subscription reseller and distributor network across the African continent.

We are recruiting an experienced Business Development & Operations Manager to develop and manage our East African operations, with particular emphasis on Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage resellers, distributors and sales agents.
• Develop relationships with ISPs, satellite TV installers, electronics retailers and technology businesses.
• Manage incoming enquiries and conduct online sales meetings.
• Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into paying business.
• Coordinate day-to-day regional operations and existing agents.
• Maintain accurate prospect and reseller records.
• Submit a concise daily activity and sales report directly to the business owner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in B2B sales, channel development or distributor management.
• Established commercial contacts in African markets.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• French language skills are a significant advantage.
• Reliable internet access and ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Commission structure

• 10% recurring commission on qualifying revenue generated through personally developed business.
• Commission terms and payment arrangements agreed in writing.
• No fixed salary, retainer or expense reimbursement.
