Ecommerce Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced ecommerce business analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, web analytics, and business analysis. He or she will be responsible for conducting analysis to support the optimization of our ecommerce website and digital marketing campaigns. This will include identifying opportunities for improvement, conducting A/B testing, and developing and implementing recommendations. The ecommerce business analyst will also be responsible for creating and maintaining reports on key performance indicators, as well as providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Duties & Responsibilities Understand business goals and objectives, and how they relate to ecommerce initiatives Work with stakeholders to define requirements for new ecommerce features and functionality Conduct analysis of website data to identify trends and areas for improvement Create detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations Develop and implement test plans to assess the impact of new ecommerce features Monitor website performance and user engagement metrics Identify and troubleshoot issues with website functionality Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns manage day-to-day operations of the ecommerce website Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure smooth website operation Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices Provide training and support to internal teams on ecommerce platform and tools Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, or related field 2-4 years professional experience as a business analyst or in a similar role Experience with ecommerce platforms and website analytics tools Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines Preferred Skills and Qualifications Master’s degree in business, economics, data science, or related field 4-6 years professional experience as a business analyst or in a similar role Advanced skills with ecommerce platforms and website analytics tools Expertise in statistical analysis and modeling Experience with SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages
