Role Description We are looking for an eCommerce Technical Specialist to join our dynamic remote team. This is a hands-on technical role, not basic store management, not pure development, but the technical layer in between: migrations, integrations, connectors, APIs, and data. You'll work as part of our technical team under our Technical Lead, handling the more complex, technical side of our Shopify projects, and collaborating closely with our account, design, and marketing teams.
You are a fit if you have:
- Technical experience with the Shopify platform (Admin, themes, apps, metafields/metaobjects, API)
- Hands-on experience with data migrations and integrations (connectors, ERP/CRM/WMS, product feeds, data mapping and synchronization)
- Comfort working with third-party APIs: reading documentation, configuration, and handling limitations and edge cases
- The ability to configure and validate apps, map data, and run technical QA
- Solid technical problem-solving and scripting ability (you don't need to be a full-stack developer, but you're comfortable getting technical)
- A strong eye for detail and a quality-first mindset
- Solid communication skills in English, technical and non-technical
- The ability to follow technical direction, manage tasks and timelines across multiple projects, and flag blockers early
- Experience with time-logging tools or platforms to track project progress and ensure deadlines are met

Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing Shopify migrations (products, collections, customers, orders, pages, reviews), partial or full, under the Technical Lead's guidance
- Configuring and managing connectors and integrations to external systems (ERP/CRM/WMS, feeds, analytics)
- Mapping and validating data synchronizations (products, stock, prices, orders, customers) between systems
- Working with third-party APIs: configuration, handling limitations and edge cases, and liaising with providers' support
- Configuring, testing, and validating Shopify apps and their integrations with existing setups
- Managing metafields, metaobjects, and filters, and running scripts for bulk data operations (imports/exports, SKU and data fixes)
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including app conflicts
- Running technical QA: functional testing and validating integrations before launch
- Supporting feasibility assessments and estimates, and joining calls when technical input is needed
