ECU Project Leader / Design Leader

Grownet is looking for an experienced technical leader to shape next-generation automotive safety electronics and ECU platforms for one of our clients.

You will lead early concept development, define technology roadmaps and architectures, and guide global engineering teams from innovation and feasibility studies towards production-ready solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead ECU and system concept creation, technology selection and proof-of-concept activities.

• Define scalable platforms that support future customer applications.

• Drive technical decisions across hardware, software, functional safety and cybersecurity.

• Align global teams, customers, suppliers and business stakeholders around a shared product vision.

• Communicate concept maturity, progress, risks and technology readiness.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related field.

• Significant automotive experience within a Tier-1 supplier or OEM.

• Proven leadership in advanced engineering, innovation or concept development.

• Strong experience leading automotive ECU development across hardware, software and functional safety.

• Experience coordinating globally distributed, multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with EPS, chassis or other safety-critical systems is a strong advantage, alongside knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 21434 and ASPICE.
