Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we specialize in building dynamic, scalable, and user-friendly eCommerce experiences across platforms. As an Ecwid Developer, you will be responsible for designing, customizing, and integrating Ecwid stores into various websites and content management systems. Your role will involve building seamless shopping experiences, developing custom features, and supporting businesses across retail, fashion, health, tech, and services. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and backend developers to ensure smooth functionality and performance of Ecwid-powered storefronts. You Will Be Responsible For: Setting up and customizing online stores using the Ecwid eCommerce platform Embedding Ecwid stores into CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Joomla, or custom websites Developing and implementing custom CSS/JavaScript to enhance design and functionality Integrating payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party tools via Ecwid APIs Configuring product catalogs, categories, variants, coupons, and checkout flows Troubleshooting store-related issues, improving load times, and optimizing user experience Supporting product launches and maintaining store performance post-deployment Collaborating with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions This Role Is For You If: You have 1–3 years of experience working with the Ecwid platform or similar eCommerce platforms You are proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript You are familiar with Ecwid's API and embedding techniques You can integrate Ecwid with different website platforms and CMS tools You understand responsive design, performance optimization, and eCommerce best practices You have a keen eye for detail and a user-centric approach to store design Bonus Points If You Have: Experience in developing custom widgets or features for Ecwid Knowledge of Ecwid App Market, RESTful API usage, or Zapier integrations Experience working with CRM, email marketing platforms, or Google Analytics Background in UI/UX design or A/B testing for conversion optimization Portfolio of Ecwid-powered sites you've worked on What We Offer: Ownership of eCommerce projects from idea to launch Competitive salary with milestone-based bonuses A fully remote work environment with global exposure Opportunities to work across industries and explore emerging commerce tools Clear career progression toward roles like eCommerce Lead or Platform Architect About Pentoz: Pentoz is a fast-growing tech company committed to empowering global businesses through innovation, low-code platforms, and agile development.
