What will you do?
We are looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on professional to support our daily operations of Sustainable Business Transition and Creative Business - Beyond Campus. As Education Coordinator, you support education, matching, and events, contributing to an excellent learning and working environment for students and staff. You work directly with the management teams of Sustainable Business Transition and Creative Business-Beyond Campus and support. In these teams, you bring a constructive perspective, actively identify opportunities for improvement.
The role combines established programme operations with the hands-on coordination required during the roll-out of Creative Business Beyond Campus. While Sustainable Business Transition is an established master programme, Beyond Campus is a new pathway, with the first year now running and the remaining years still to be implemented. You have a start-up mentality: you take initiative, figure things out, build what is needed and turn changing needs into workable solutions.

Your key responsibilities

  • Information and digital systems: You are a helpful point of contact for students and staff. You answer student and staff queries on our shared inbox. You prepare and send practical student communications, maintain FAQs, the annual programme calendar and other practical programme information. You are adept to digital platforms and will be a key user in the most crucial ones, particularly Canvas, Evalytics and Osiris.
  • Matching: You facilitate our matching process and check which students are eligible or not. You also enter the required information in our matching system. For this process, you keep close contact with management but also with other stakeholders such as HU admissions and International Office.
  • Events: You offer support in our events, most particularly during the introduction weeks, bootcamps, our annual conference and our graduation ceremony. This includes coordinating rooms, materials, catering, schedules, participant information and other practical arrangements. You are hands-on during programme activities and help resolve operational issues when they arise.
  • Education planning and logistics: You join the support team of both programmes. You take ownership of scheduling, class and group formation, room planning and other practical arrangements.
  • Hybrid education and bootcamp coordination: You support the organisation of the Beyond Campus learning journey, including its online Live Labs and four three-day bootcamps in Utrecht each year. You coordinate practical matters such as locations, materials, attendance, schedules and communication with students and staff. As Beyond Campus is a new pathway, you also help develop and improve the operational processes needed to make hybrid education run smoothly.
