About Us

Humly Hampshire Ltd, are an established education recruitment agency located in Fareham. About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Education Recruitment Consultant to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) & Secondary Education desk.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to Secondary schools, academies, and specialist SEN provisions across Hampshire. You will connect qualified Secondary subject teachers (English, Maths, Science, Humanities), Cover Supervisors, SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and specialist educators with schools requiring temporary supply and long term cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Candidate Pipelining: Working alongside the Talent Support team, proactively communicating with high-caliber applicants.

  • Desk & Placement Management: Managing day-to-day and long term supply requirements.

  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Have an appreciation of Safeguarding and KCSIe compliance. Maintain strict adherence to Department for Education (DfE) guidelines, ensuring rigorous background, DBS, and qualification checks for all candidates prior to placement.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on local authority funding, regional school needs, and staffing patterns to deliver proactive recruitment support.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Experience: Background in Education Recruitment, Commercial Recruitment, or B2B Account Management (prior experience running a Secondary or SEN desk is highly advantageous).

  • Industry Knowledge: An awareness of the UK education system, particularly in Secondary and Special Education Needs (SEN), would be advantageous.

  • Consultative Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a client-first approach to relationship building.

  • Commercial Drive: Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting operational targets while prioritising quality of service.

  • Safeguarding Commitment: Uncompromising dedication to safety and compliance standards in education.

  • Team Player: Collaborative environment, multi-tasker and able to prioritise.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Package: Attractive base salary to £45K paired with an uncapped, team based bonus structure.

  • Flexible Working: WFH on Wednesdays.

  • Private Health Care: (upon completion of successful probationary period).

  • Free Car Park.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

  • 40 hour working week - 7am to 4pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm (finish 5pm on Fridays).

  • Summer and Christmas Team Parties.
