Salary Range: Gross Annual Salary (RAL) between €35,000 and €40,000

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a professional to join Kirey’s Observability division as an Elastic Observability Engineer, contributing to the development and management of advanced solutions based on the Elastic Stack.

This role combines both project-based and operational activities, ranging from the configuration and management of Elastic clusters in enterprise environments to the integration of observability solutions within monitoring, automation, and data analytics processes.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects across both On-Premises and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Elastic Cloud), collaborating with DevOps teams and supporting clients in building scalable, resilient, and high-performing architectures.

The role will primarily involve:

  • Designing and implementing solutions based on the Elastic Stack
  • Installing, configuring, and managing Elasticsearch clusters
  • Performance tuning and infrastructure optimization
  • Integrating monitoring pipelines and observability systems
  • Advanced troubleshooting and issue analysis
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams and technical stakeholders
  • Defining best practices for security, scalability, and resilience

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in observability and Elastic platform management who are looking to work on enterprise-scale environments and advanced technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, and management of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) solutions
  • Management of On-Premises and Cloud Elastic environments
  • Sizing and designing highly available and resilient architectures
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Elastic clusters
  • Monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Advanced troubleshooting, data analysis, and log analysis
  • Integration with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems
  • Collaboration with technical teams and support for client requirements
  • Definition of observability and security best practices

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) in enterprise environments
  • Experience designing and managing highly available Elastic architectures
  • Expertise in the installation, configuration, and tuning of Elastic clusters
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems (command line, scripting, automation)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Knowledge of Elastic Observability solutions (Logs, Metrics, APM)
  • Experience with OpenSearch
  • Experience with Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) or Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)
  • Security expertise (RBAC, TLS, data encryption, Elastic Security)
  • Basic software development skills (Java, Python, Node.js)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
