Job Description This is a remote position. The Aviation Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for electrical load analysis, grounding principals, wire gauges, wire harness, wire assemblies . This project is for Aviation Company. This role requires collaboration with other engineering teams, manufacturing departments, and stakeholders to ensure the creation of efficient, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical designs. MUST BE UNITED STATES CITIZEN MUST HAVE CATIA EXPERIENCE Develop electrical designs from concept to production, using Catia V5. • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical components and assemblies. • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure designs meet performance criteria. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate electrical systems. • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select materials and components that meet design requirements and cost constraints. • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. • Prepare and present design reviews and progress reports to stakeholders. • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and apply new technologies and methods to improve designs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in CATIA is a must. Strong understanding of electrical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Experience with prototyping and testing electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experience: • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., automotive interiors, aerospace interiors or rail) may be preferred. Benefits This is a remote contractor position. No Benefits
