Under the mentorship of senior designers and engineers, you will use Revit to translate engineering concepts into precise technical deliverables. Responsibilities The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. Works on markups provided by higher-level designers/engineers using Revit to create precise electrical and I&C design packages. Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub-systems, specifically focusing on instrumentation, control loops, and electrical layouts. Solves design problems, but is expected to need assistance. Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of Senior designers or Senior engineers. Technical Computations: Works from both own designs and designs of others, compiles data, and performs design computations to support engineering requirements. Works under close supervision with work effort frequently checked during progress and reviewed upon completion to ensure professional development and quality. Maintains working knowledge of the discipline's codes (such as NEC) and studies non-routine code issues to ensure safety and compliance. Solves design problems, but is expected to need assistance and collaboration from more experienced team members. This job requires the use of AI or similar digital technology to perform the job function, aligning with SSOE’s commitment to innovation and efficiency. Qualifications What You Will Bring: High school diploma required. Desirable Engineering bachelor´s degree. (Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering or any related). Six months to three years (1 - 3) years or more as Electrical designer. Prior experience as Electrical designer focused on Instrumentation and controls electrical design Experience with Low and Medium voltage building systems (facilities). AutoCAD prior experience. Advanced English .
