Whether you're currently working in industrial maintenance, building services, facilities management, power distribution, or electrical installation and commissioning, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop into a highly skilled UPS Field Service Engineer.

You'll receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced specialists, and gain exposure to some of the UK's most critical infrastructure, including hyperscale data centres, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites. As demand for critical power expertise continues to grow, this role provides a clear pathway to building a long-term career in a specialist and future-focused field.

What you’ll do:

  • Diagnose faults on UPS systems
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of on-line and line-interactive UPS systems
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on the existing installed base
  • Perform repairs on all types of UPS systems, including standalone and parallel configurations
  • Set up and configure remote monitoring software
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on technical matters
  • Adhere to anti-static policies and procedures
  • Apply the ECN process to all repairs

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with three-phase electrical systems in an installation, maintenance, service, commissioning or troubleshooting environment
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Previous experience with UPS systems is beneficial but not essential, as full product training will be provided
  • A desire to develop specialist expertise in critical power and data centre technologies
