Electrical Project Lead - Data Centres

Lead electrical design on major data centre projects valued at up to $5 billion, with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

We are seeking an Electrical Project Lead with 7+ years of electrical design experience and strong data centre exposure to join an established national data centre team in Melbourne.

This is an opportunity to take a lead role on complex, large-scale projects, working alongside specialists across disciplines to deliver critical infrastructure.

The opportunity

Working within the national data centre team, you will:

• Lead electrical design delivery across major data centre projects.
• Coordinate electrical design inputs across multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage design deliverables, technical quality and project milestones.
• Act as a key technical contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Review designs and technical documentation against project requirements and relevant standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers within the team.

About you

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical design experience, with strong exposure to data centre projects.
• Strong understanding of critical power infrastructure, resilience and redundancy requirements.
• Experience leading design packages and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs.
• Confident client communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing project priorities.
